South African Association of Botanists (SAAB) - 39th Annual Conference - 20-24 January 2013 - Drakensberg



The School of Life Sciences at the University of KwaZulu-Natal invites you to the 2013 SAAB conference that will be held at the ATKV Drakensville resort in the northern Drakensberg. The theme of the conference is Green is Gold which celebrates the economic and scientific value of plant diversity to South Africa.

Registration and Abstracts

Registration and submission of abstracts are now open. Abstract submission closes on 20 October 2012 together with standard registration. Within 14 days of abstract submission, you will be notified if your presentation is accepted (based on the submitted abstracts and general interest). Please refer to our abstract webpage for details.

Abstract submission deadline has been extended to the 20th NOVEMBER 2012

Accommodation booking is still possible but subject to availability until 30th NOVEMBER 2012 (only sharing accommodation in chalets left option C and D on the form).

Late registration is still possible (see registration form) and on-site registration will be possible during the conference from 20th January to 24th January.
